Once upon a sleepless night, while I perused Facebook, stealth and might,
Over many a post and strange shares of BuzzFeed love,
While I liked, nearly commenting, I had a sense of something processing,
Like jack-o-lanterns dancing, dancing on my computer with more
"Just some giveaway," I mumbled, "dancing on my computer and more-
Only this, and nothing more. Bringing me a giveaway from Halloween Forevermore…”
(poem by Krista, modeled after Edgar Allen Poe's The Rave)

Let me tell you how excited Cheeks is for this Halloween? Why? For the first time I let him get something scary, much to my chagrin. I miss the days of dressing him like a lion, or a dinosaur or even a cat. No, I have a typical 8yo boy who thinks the more gruesome the better. Fortunately, we found a costume we could agree on. Presenting: Fade In Fade Out Phantom
If that isn't enough to make you want to pee your pants, we got a Sickle today. Come on, the Fade In Fade Out Phantom has to have a weapon.
Of course, the unknown phantom lurkes in dark corners. He just came out for a little photo session. I want to thank Halloween Adventure for the rockin costume. It was reasonably prices (under $30), made very well. Sometimes when I get a costume for him, the seams are coming apart, the material is shabby. So not so with this costume. Not to mention it fits him perfectly, with matching gloves. I have neglected to get batteries. Why batteries? The eyes glow. That is all he needs to scare his poor mother. He's also at the age where scaring people is "his thing". Did you know there is such a thing as Zombie Walk? Oh but there is...great forums for all things zombies. Back to the costume, Cheeks loves it so much he is currently sitting cross legged on my coffee table, playing Wii, wearing the costume. I will definitely being using Halloween Adventure again for his future costumes. They can't be beat. Reasonable & great quality. He will be using his costume well past Halloween for dress up, or as he says "Scare Mom!" day. Good times! Good times! What is your child going as? Better yet, are you dressing up?
*Disclaimer: I received the costume at no charge in exchange for a review. My opinion is 100% my own.
