I love, love, love to take photos. I am a scrapbooker at heart...although I haven't scrapped in a loooong time. The key to good scrapbooking is fantabulous photos. Really, photos can make anything terrific. I actually took my oldest's graduation photos because his school charges way to much.  They turned out so great, I made copies for the entire family.  I even got candid shots.   Digital photography has really made photos pop.  I love that we have gone 100% digital. Let me tell you how excited Cheeks is for this Halloween? Why? For the first time I let him get something scary, much to my chagrin. I miss the days of dressing him like a lion, or a dinosaur or even a cat.  No, I have a typical 8yo boy who thinks the more gruesome the better. Fortunately, we found a costume we could agree on. Of course, the unknown phantom lurkes in dark corners.  He just came out for a little photo session. I want to thank Halloween Adventure for the rockin costume. It was reasonably prices (under $30), made very well.  Sometimes when I get a costume for him, the seams are coming apart, the material is shabby.  So not so with this costume.  Not to mention it fits him perfectly, with matching gloves. What can I say? What a book! I was lucky enough to recently get to review a new brand of cake mix, available at Target!, called Immaculate Baking . It was created by artists who wanted something all natural.  All natural is what they got.  I was glad to see I could pronounce all ingredients (big plus!) and everything was in it's natural form.  Absolutely no chemicals, preservatives or artificial colors.  I've been trying to give the fam more wholesome foods and this definitely fits the bill.  This cake required absolutely no oil, like a lot of mixes. I had to add 4 eggs, 1/3rd cup of milk and 1.5 sticks of butter.   It mixed up easy peasy and I popped it in the oven for 30 mins.  Figured we would have it for dessert that evening.
