Wisteria Lane is Desperate for Gift Baskets

I <3 gift baskets. Love to give them, love to receive them. I remember the first one I ever made. It was for a friend of mine going away for her freshman year of college. I found a "bucket" and filled it with toiletries, health and beauty aides, note cards (this was before email made an appearance...yes I am THAT old) and some candy.  I wanted a personal touch, just like Wisteria Lane Gifts does with theirs. To a restaurant similar to Carmel by The Sea Restaurants I ordered crab legs. King Crab legs, thank you very much. They were perfect.  As was my date with my Poppy! He knew I loved crabs because I spent a lot of time at my aunt and uncle's house.  My uncle was always going crabbing or stopping by a roadside stand of "fresh crabs" to buy a bushel & bring back to his house. We are fortunate to live on the East Coast about an hour from the Atlantic Ocean.  Fresh seafood is easy to come by round these parts. My uncle would bring them home & let one or two loose on the tile floor. Not my favorite part but once they...
