I <3 gift baskets. Love to give them, love to receive them. I remember the first one I ever made. It was for a friend of mine going away for her freshman year of college. I found a "bucket" and filled it with toiletries, health and beauty aides, note cards (this was before email made an appearance...yes I am THAT old) and some candy.  I wanted a personal touch, just like Wisteria Lane Gifts does with theirs. Everyone needs candy their freshman year of college. This is a tale. A tale of little brown haired girl who fell in love with: Crabs. Which led to my love of scallops, shrimp, lobster, clams, salmon...most seafood really. Can't do crawfish but that's because the head is still on. Ew. I remember my Poppy taking me to a seafood restaurant for my birthday when I was little. Just us. To a restaurant similar to Carmel by The Sea Restaurants I ordered crab legs. King Crab legs, thank you very much. They were perfect.  As was my date with my Poppy! He knew I loved crabs because I spent a lot of time at my aunt and uncle's house.  My uncle was always going crabbing or stopping by a roadside stand of "fresh crabs" to buy a bushel & bring back to his house. We are fortunate to live on the East Coast about an hour from the Atlantic Ocean.  Fresh seafood is easy to come by round these parts. This is a special guest post: Almost every day I find myself wondering how Mom did this without the Internet. I have two precious little girls right now, and there is hardly a day that I don't go online to a site like everydayfamily.com for some special advice or question. I've talked to several other moms in my parent's group and they feel the same way. When my husband and I went off birth control to ttc , we gained a lot of confidence from what we were able to learn online. Since then, as we started the family, we have gotten a ton of coupons and samples that help with the budget a lot. Plus, we have found some good products that we continue to use. I am only go to list the sites that I have personally used & personally made cash from. First up! My Survey. I've been a member of MySurvey for a few years & I can guarantee they pay.  You will not get rich but a little bit of money always helps out. Next up...Opinion Outpost...My fav survey site! I would say this is one of the best out there.  Last year, I made over $80 with them alone.  I am already at almost $25 for 2013 & it is only the beginning of March. You don't always qualify for surveys BUT they give a consolation game to get points.  I've won that way as well. Finally...ePoll. Another site that pays & pays decent.  I've been a member & I am hit or miss with this site.  Why? No reason, just cause.  I focuse a lot on Opinion Outpost because like I said, it's one of my favs. So check out one, two or all three of these sites. All membership is free & all pay!
