Choosing the Best Automobile for Your Dollar

If you are in the market for a new car, you may want to look into purchasing a new Kia. You can do some research online with sites such as and other informational websites. You can also do some ‘old school’ research by asking around to your friends, neighbors, and co-workers. If you are brave enough, you may even walk down to your new neighbor, a few houses down, and ask them. When they moved in you noticed their car and really liked it, and it’s a Kia! To help you with your research, you can read about the Sorento, Rio, and Optima in this article.

The 2014 Sorento is one of Edmunds top picks for a small or midsize crossover SUV. With the available third-row seat, powerful V6 engine, and roomy interior you can’t go wrong. Although a few changes and updates have been made to the look and function of the Sorento it is the changes that you can’t readily see that make the biggest difference. The new chassis and suspension are stupendous making a nice, comfortable ride a reality.
The Optima is also a top pick for reviewers at Edmunds. It is a nicely designed mid-size sedan. If you love the idea of a solid acceleration given by a heavy hitting engine, you will be happy at every stop light in an Optima. Like all Kia’s, the Optima comes with a lengthy warranty to make any automobile owner happy. The other bonus available to Optima buyers is the availability of a hybrid model. If you are looking for an eco-friendly automobile this may be an option for you.
Hop onto the Internet to and other such sites to research the Rio. Since the redesign in 2012, the Rio has become a contender among compact cars. It can be equipped with automatic stop-start technology for better fuel efficiency saving you lots of money in the fuel area. Although it is a compact car, because of the design it feels big inside and does accommodate full-sized adults in the outboard positions. This is a solid choice for a new automobile, but then again so are the Optima and Sorento.

Smurfs: The Lost Village & Psst...a lightening fast Giveaway too!

Smurfs: The Lost Village is coming out April 7th.  That's this weekend.
I don't know about you but I remember when the Smurfs first appeared on the scene.  Way back in the 80's...that's early 80's mind you.  I think I just gave away my age.  Yes, I am that old I remember the original gang.  I even had little Smurf toys.  One was a police officer.  That was because my dad was a police officer.
Enough reminiscing, I am so excited that the Smurfs have stood the test of time and the my child gets to experience them.  At 10 years old, he still likes them.  His favorite Smurf...Papa.  So we are definitely heading to opening weekend to see Smurfs: The Lost Village.
Let us see what this film is all about:
In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil …

Nessie & Me...a Review & a #Giveaway

Need a cute movie for the little ones to watch, this is the one.
Cheeks & I watched it, we liked it, albeit a bit young for my 10 year old boy.  I would say good age range for kids is maybe 3 to 7.

Here's a bit about the movie:

The Loch Ness Monster has been back in the news following a recent sighting and resurfaced pictures, just in time for the release of family movie “Nessie & Me,” which is now available on DVD & VOD, courtesy of Vision Films!
When 9-year-old Jamie moves to a beautiful lakeside village, he befriends a grumpy old sea captain who tells him of the lake’s mythical creature named Nessie. The townsfolk don’t believe him, but Jamie wonders if Nessie can be the solution to save the town from a greedy mogul who is buying up land around the lake… if only he can prove that Nessie is real. But sometimes it takes a little bit of magic, and with the help of a mermaid, a treasure map and an unlikely friendship with Nessie the Sea Monster, Jamie and the people of Lak…
