Target has new Big G cereal flavors? Say it isn't so!

Check it out peeps & geeks!
Target is now carrying the new BigG flavors of some classic cereals.

Fiber One Protein
Multi Gram Cheerios Dark Chocolate Crunch
Chocolate Toast Crunch...SCORE!

Of course, being a 43 year old woman who has the palate of a 7yo, I went right to the Chocolate Toast Crunch.
For the love of all that is Holy, this is gooooooooooooood!
It's chocolate goodness with a hint of cinnamon.
Yum! Not to mention it stays crispy, doesn't get soggy.

Bobster went for the Dark Chocolate Crunch Cheerios.
He was not disappointed.
I was glad to see he was eating something that was good for him.
Good for the heart and multi grain.
Good source of fiber if you ask me.

I would like to say that we ate these for breakfast but being a typical busy family, we are on the go in the morning.
Snack time it is then.

I'm proud to say I finished the Chocolate Toast Crunch box in like 3 days.
Should I be proud? Hmm...now that I see it in writing I'm not so sure.

Bobster is still working on the Cheerios.

Sadly, I'm allergic to almonds so I didn't try the Fiber One Protein.  I gave it to a coworker and she adores it.  Plus she's getting nutrients that we all need.

With this being said, I definitely recommend trying on of these and I dare you to go to Target & only get the cereal.  Nothing else!  Can you do it? Huh, hug, can ya?  Let me know.

Meanwhile, check out all the BigG cerals at generalmills.com.

*Disclaimer: All opinions are 100% my own. Plateful.com supplied the cereal.

Nessie & Me...a Review & a #Giveaway

Need a cute movie for the little ones to watch, this is the one. Cheeks & I watched it, we liked it, albeit a bit young for my 10 year old boy.  I would say good age range for kids is maybe 3 to 7. Here's a bit about the movie: The Loch Ness Monster has been back in the news following a recent sighting and resurfaced pictures, just in time for the release of family movie  “Nessie & Me,”  which is now available on DVD & VOD, courtesy of Vision Films! When 9-year-old Jamie moves to a beautiful lakeside village, he befriends a grumpy old sea captain who tells him of the lake’s mythical creature named Nessie. The townsfolk don’t believe him, but Jamie wonders if Nessie can be the solution to save the town from a greedy mogul who is buying up land around the lake… if only he can prove that Nessie is real. But sometimes it takes a little bit of magic, and with the help of a mermaid, a treasure map and an unlikely friendship with Nessie the Sea Monster, ...

Green Giant: Raise A Giant (Giveaway too)

At Green Giant® we know it takes a lot more to raise a healthy child then just getting them to eat their vegetables. Kids these days live in a world that is bigger and scarier than the world we grew up in, and they need help and encouragement to navigate that world with confidence and pride. Unfortunately one of the hardest things kids have to deal with is bullying. When a child is bullied by a peer it can turn his or her life into a daily gauntlet of fear and anxiety. That’s why Green Giant® is partnering with PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center and We Day Minnesota to help parents Raise A Giant and put a stop to bullying in their community. What Does it Mean To Be A Giant? Being a giant isn’t about being the biggest or the best. Being a giant means standing up for others. It means lending a hand to those who are in trouble and speaking up for those who sometimes find it hard to speak up for themselves. Studies show that an effective way...
