Recently, I was fortunate enough to get to try Philosophy - Amazing Grace Firming Body Emulsion and the Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel.  First, the smell...divine! Absolutely divine.  Relaxing. Rejuvenating. Just luxourious scent. Over the weeks I used these, I noticed my skin changing. With Veterans Day being tomorrow, I thought it was fitting to give you my review of "Faith of Our Fathers" dvd. As the daughter of a Vietnam Vet, this movie holds a special place for me.  I am fortunate enough, that my day is alive and he made it home from Vietnam.  Sadly, a lot of men didn't make it home, leaving many children (and spouses) without a father. This is the story of two of those children. I watched this movie and while a bit slow to progress, the story of their journey is what piques your interest.  I wanted to see both of them succeed in completely the trip to see the men have closure.  The movie has humor, tension and a great message for all.  I highly recommend watching it as a family.  In my personal opinion, I feel it doesn't need to be PG-13 but then again, I blog, not rate movies. I have always admired the Robertson Family. They have maintained their values while being on a reality show. Who are the Robertson Family you ask? Duck Dynasty. Recently, I was fortunate it enough to get to see a preview of the new movie, Galaxy Buck: Mission to Sector 9.  What a cute movie.  For those of us old enough to remember, it will remind you of the specials from the 60's & 70's that would play on television around Christmas.  Made me feel like I was about 5 years old when I was watching it. This movie has great humor, action, campiness and a has been extremely influenced by Star Trek.  That's just my take on it anyway. This movie has a great message and is definitely for the six and under set.  The characters keep reminding the viewer that God wants us to do big things but the message is a bit construed by Buck.  A helpful "alien" helps him figure out the true message. I want to bring awareness to a Mesothelioma, a form of cancer that is preventable! A disease I didn't know anything about until recently.
