Veggie Tales Devotional for Boys: Review & #Giveaway!!!!

Recently, I was given the opportunity to review Veggie Tales: Every Day w/ God: 365 Daily Devos for Boys.

What a sweet book.  My son reads one page a day, as he's not a big reader and he likes it.  He's 10 so it's a tad young for him BUT it gets the point across. The book is geared to 4-7 year olds.

Here's a bit about the book:

This devotional has newly updated VeggieTales art and can be a powerful tool for helping build a child’s faith by giving them a fun and meaningful way to think about God each day.

Now for the good stuff...the giveaway.

Nessie & Me...a Review & a #Giveaway

Need a cute movie for the little ones to watch, this is the one. Cheeks & I watched it, we liked it, albeit a bit young for my 10 year old boy.  I would say good age range for kids is maybe 3 to 7. Here's a bit about the movie: The Loch Ness Monster has been back in the news following a recent sighting and resurfaced pictures, just in time for the release of family movie  “Nessie & Me,”  which is now available on DVD & VOD, courtesy of Vision Films! When 9-year-old Jamie moves to a beautiful lakeside village, he befriends a grumpy old sea captain who tells him of the lake’s mythical creature named Nessie. The townsfolk don’t believe him, but Jamie wonders if Nessie can be the solution to save the town from a greedy mogul who is buying up land around the lake… if only he can prove that Nessie is real. But sometimes it takes a little bit of magic, and with the help of a mermaid, a treasure map and an unlikely friendship with Nessie the Sea Monster, ...

VTech Voices ~ Family Reading Night & Giveaway!!!

That's right everyone. This week being part of the VTech Voices team is allowing me to bring you a cool giveaway. Of course, you are going to have to do a bit of work to get it. First let's see what we are playing for: "OOOH! AAAH!" I'm not kidding when I say this VTech Reader is freaking awesome! Not only will you win one of those, you will get a "game" with it. Woo hoo! Here's what you need to do. You need to come up with your very own Family Reading Night. It's where the whole fam (or as many are at home) sit down & read together. Sort of like a Family Home Evening for those LDSers in the crowd (HOLLA!). I did this with my lil guy & my nephew just last night. We layed on my bed and they each took turns holding the reader & playing the games that come after the story. It got a little confusing for a bit because, well let's face it they are almost 4 & 4.5yrs old so they are learning about not yelling out an...
