Smurfs: The Lost Village is coming out April 7th.  That's this weekend.   I don't know about you but I remember when the Smurfs first appeared on the scene.  Way back in the 80's...that's early 80's mind you.  I think I just gave away my age.  Yes, I am that old I remember the original gang.  I even had little Smurf toys.  One was a police officer.  That was because my dad was a police officer. Need a cute movie for the little ones to watch, this is the one. Cheeks & I watched it, we liked it, albeit a bit young for my 10 year old boy.  I would say good age range for kids is maybe 3 to 7. This book...absolutely adorbs! In typical suburban woman fashion "I can't even!" It's just the perfect little story. Not to mention the illustrations are so sweet. Recently, I was given the opportunity to review this special book, Christmas Letter from God Bible Stories. What a sweet, sweet book.  Perfect for your child, boy or girl, ages 4-8.  My son is 10 and he liked it. So that age range can go up a bit. I found the book to be the perfect companion to this time of year.  Let's face it, Christmas is mere weeks away and what a better way to celebrate Jesus' birthday but with this great book. Recently I was given the opportunity to review the new movie by Vision Films "The Hybrids Family".  Can I just say...how fun and cute this movie is.  Especially this time of year.  Not to mention, great for the whole family.  My 10yo liked it and unless it involves Japanese Anime, he doesn't like anything these days. Once again, I was given the opportunity to review The Biggest Story by Kevin DeYoung. I reviewed the book a few months back and was very impressed. Now I get to review the audio cd and the dvd. My son and I watched the dvd. Fantastic. My son was very into it, which surprised me because I thought it may be too young for him.  He's 10.  He enjoyed, asked questions and told me he would watch it again.
