Let's Help: Organizations that Help Veterans

See the handsome devil on the left with the machine gun in hand? That's my dad. Otherwise known as the Grandpop.   He was in Vietnam. Late 1960's.   He is a Vet.  He fought long and hard and has earned the benefits given to him by our government in this day age.   The nice thing is there are other organizations in our country, not associated with the government, that help out veterans.  Organizations that help veterans are in demand!   In the South Jersey/Philadelphia area alone, there are numerous organizations to get in contact with to help the Vets.  All the vets, WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afghanastan, vets deserve help.  I am sure in your neck of the woods, it's the same.   You can donate your time, clothing, even your cars to help them.  I have done a little to help the vets.  It's a cause dear to my heart (ahem, see photo...again!).     One of my favorite thi...

For you lovely future sister missionaries I am going to show you how to be modest yet trendy. Booyah! Check out some absolutely stunning LDS Sister Missionary Clothing .  Besides sharing the love of the Gospel, Sister Missionaries must be extremely modest.  Not nun habit modest because 1.  Mormons do not have Nuns & 2.  A Nun's Habit is really, really modest or at least the ones I remember from growing up. So I want to share some beeeeee-U-tiful dresses, skirts and such that I have found.  I'm actually thinking of purchasing them for myself because a girl can always use new clothes. Check out this little diddy: I love, love, love the ruching across the bodice not to mention the lovely sash that is off to the side of the dress at the top.  Be...

Valentines Day. It will be here before you know it. This year, I vow to make it different. I vow to ...acknowledge it. Yes...I do not care for the holiday. This year I am doing it up big...at least with a card. Sometimes I do not express my love for the Bobster. Sure I say it but I don't think he really gets it. So I want to make sure he knows. I was checking out Treat.com  to see their fun & perfect cards. What I like most about Treat.com  is you can personalize their cards...with whatever you want it to say.  Whatever. You. Want. It. To.
