Celtic Woman "Believe" Cd & Dvd Review & Giveaway

Did you know that I am Irish?
Meghan Kathleen I am.
Red hair.
Green eyes.
Fair skin.

Did you know that red hair, green eyes, is not all that common in Ireland?
Tis true.
I was there a few years back.  I think I saw one red head.

That brings me to why I am here today.

Celtic Woman.

I love to sing.  Although no one I know appreciates my singing...I usually get told it sounds like cats dying.  Whatever that means.

Now these women, they can sing.
Their voices harmonize so magnificently together.
Truly a delight to the ears.

I was lucky enough to get a copy of their brand new cd & dvd.
Love it!
Even Bobster said he enjoyed the dvd.  I think it was because they are all knockouts...tee hee.

Did you know that since their formation in 2004, Celtic Woman's CD and DVD releases have been enthusiastically embraced by a large and ever-increasing audience, and their concert tours have become major events, while a series of Celtic Woman concert specials on the U.S. Public Television have been consistent ratings successes. The group has sold over seven million album and DVD worldwide.

Over 7 million albums...hello...yes, they are that good.

Today I have a chance for you to win one.
Of course if you don't want to wait to see if you win you can also buy the cd and/or dvd.

My mother's grandfather was Irish. So there might be a snibbit of Irish blood in my veins. Just a "turch". :)

Smurfs: The Lost Village & Psst...a lightening fast Giveaway too!

Smurfs: The Lost Village is coming out April 7th.  That's this weekend.
I don't know about you but I remember when the Smurfs first appeared on the scene.  Way back in the 80's...that's early 80's mind you.  I think I just gave away my age.  Yes, I am that old I remember the original gang.  I even had little Smurf toys.  One was a police officer.  That was because my dad was a police officer.
Enough reminiscing, I am so excited that the Smurfs have stood the test of time and the my child gets to experience them.  At 10 years old, he still likes them.  His favorite Smurf...Papa.  So we are definitely heading to opening weekend to see Smurfs: The Lost Village.
Let us see what this film is all about:
In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil …

Nessie & Me...a Review & a #Giveaway

Need a cute movie for the little ones to watch, this is the one.
Cheeks & I watched it, we liked it, albeit a bit young for my 10 year old boy.  I would say good age range for kids is maybe 3 to 7.

Here's a bit about the movie:

The Loch Ness Monster has been back in the news following a recent sighting and resurfaced pictures, just in time for the release of family movie “Nessie & Me,” which is now available on DVD & VOD, courtesy of Vision Films!
When 9-year-old Jamie moves to a beautiful lakeside village, he befriends a grumpy old sea captain who tells him of the lake’s mythical creature named Nessie. The townsfolk don’t believe him, but Jamie wonders if Nessie can be the solution to save the town from a greedy mogul who is buying up land around the lake… if only he can prove that Nessie is real. But sometimes it takes a little bit of magic, and with the help of a mermaid, a treasure map and an unlikely friendship with Nessie the Sea Monster, Jamie and the people of Lak…
